The Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge is an exhilarating mountain adventure! Summiting the 3 most iconic mountains in Wales, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Cader Idris & Pen y Fan all within 24 hours! This guided challenge will test your endurance and determination with a total walking distance of 27km (17miles) and a combined ascent of over 2,334m (7,657ft)!
With our expert guides leading the way and transport provided between peaks you can focus entirely on the challenge ahead while we take care of all the logistics. This means you’ll also have the chance to soak in some of Wales’ most iconic mountain scenery along the way (or catch up on some rest).
Your adventure starts with an early morning pick up from your accommodation before heading straight to Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the highest peak in Wales! You'll then ascend to an unforgettable sunrise at the summit. From there the challenge continues as you descend to the transport to then take on the rugged slopes of Cader Idris, a true test of endurance and determination! Before finally journeying south to the stunning Brecon Beacons where Pen y Fan awaits as your final ascent. Just in time to catch a classic Welsh sunset or moonrise over the rolling hills of Wales.
Be prepared as some sections of the challenge may involve hiking in the dark adding an extra layer of adventure to your experience. We also offer flexibility in planning your route, whether you’d prefer to tackle the peaks from north to south or vice versa. Pick up and drop off points can also be arranged to suit your needs.
Whether you’re pushing for a personal achievement, professional development, fundraising for charity, or simply seeking an unforgettable adventure, the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge delivers a day of epic hiking and breath taking views from sunrise to sunset!
