To comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), T1 Mountain Guides must obtain your consent to collect, store, and process your personal data.

- Booking Forms: When you book a course or guided activity, you’ll be asked to complete a booking form. If someone books on your behalf, your details may be provided by them. This information is securely stored on a password-protected booking system.
The booking form will ask for:

- Emergency contact details
- Relevant medical or health information (this may be classified as ‘Special Category Data’)

- Processing and managing your booking

- Ensuring your safety and the safety of others on the mountain

We will never share your data with third parties unless required for safety or legal purposes. For example, your personal and emergency contact details may be shared with T1 Mountain Guides staff involved in your activity to support your safety in the mountains.

Please note: If your data is being held for legal or insurance reasons (such as the defence of legal claims), we may be required to retain it. Our insurers require us to retain booking records for three years from the date of your most recent activity with us.
